DQI Assess: Data Quality and AI Readiness Assessment
Most organisations cannot answer a simple question: are we ready to use AI safely on top of our data? DQI Assess is built to answer it. It measures data quality, governance maturity and AI readiness across five dimensions, benchmarks the result against the rest of the sector, and returns a clear remediation plan.
What DQI Assess does
DQI Assess is a structured assessment engine. It guides a respondent through a sequence of scenario-based questions and converts their answers into a quantitative score across five dimensions: integration architecture, data quality and governance, real-time processing, AI readiness, and governance and compliance. Each dimension is scored from 0 to 20, producing an overall score from 0 to 100 and a maturity rating from Siloed to Autonomous.
The output is not a static report. It is a structured profile that can be revisited as the organisation matures, compared against peers, and used to drive specific remediation actions through future DQI Enforce and DQI Integrate workflows.
Three tiers
Free baseline assessment
A short, self-service assessment that produces a baseline score and a maturity rating. It is designed to take less than fifteen minutes and to give an organisation an honest first read on where they stand. No commercial commitment is required.
Paid deep-dive assessment
A longer, multi-stakeholder assessment that goes beyond a single respondent. It captures evidence, control coverage, policy maturity and operational practice. The output includes a richer report, a stronger sector benchmark and a prioritised remediation plan.
Enterprise assessment programme
For organisations that want to embed assessment as a continuous discipline. Recurring assessments are scheduled across business units, results are tracked over time, and the assessment data feeds the wider DQI platform. This tier is delivered as part of the enterprise SaaS engagement.
The five dimensions
Integration architecture
How cleanly data moves between systems and whether integration is governed or ad-hoc.
Data quality and governance
How well data is defined, validated, owned and remediated end to end.
Real-time processing
Whether the organisation can act on data in operationally relevant timeframes.
AI readiness
Whether data, controls and operating practice are ready to support AI in production rather than experimentation.
Governance and compliance
Whether AI use is governed by policy, evidenced in audit trails, and aligned to regulatory obligations.
Sector benchmarking
Every completed assessment contributes to an anonymised benchmark dataset, segmented by industry and organisation size. The benchmark turns an individual score into a comparison: "how do we compare to other financial services organisations of our size?" Over time the benchmark becomes more valuable as more organisations contribute, which is why even the free tier produces useful comparative insight from day one.
From assessment to action
DQI Assess is not the end of the journey. The maturity rating maps directly onto specific gaps that DQI Enforce and DQI Integrate are being developed to close: missing policy controls map to DQI Enforce; data preparation gaps map to DQI Integrate. The assessment is the entry point to a governed, evidenced approach to AI.
Where to start
Most organisations begin with the free baseline. It is fast, honest and produces a clear next step. Take the free assessment, then decide whether the deep-dive or the full DQI platform is the right next move.
