Privacy Policy

Last updated: 6 October 2026

This Privacy Policy explains how GETDQI Ltd, trading as DQI, handles personal information collected through www.getdqi.com.

GETDQI Ltd is registered in Scotland.

01What information we collect

We may collect personal information when you use our website, contact us, request information, or complete a form.

This may include:

  • your name;
  • your email address;
  • for DQI Intro learning, your email verification status, enrolled course version, completed topics, optional practice starts and section visits, last activity and completion dates;
  • for free resource access, your work-email verification status and the resource title, version and time of each download;
  • your phone number;
  • your company or organisation;
  • your job title;
  • any message or information you choose to send us.

We may also collect basic technical information when you visit the website, such as browser type, device type, pages visited and general usage information.

02How we use your information

We use personal information to:

  • respond to enquiries;
  • verify access to DQI Intro, save your learning progress, let you resume and let authorised administrators review enrolment and completion;
  • provide information about DQI products and services;
  • arrange meetings, demos or assessments;
  • improve our website and services;
  • manage business relationships;
  • provide gated resources and let authorised staff review which resources verified contacts accessed;
  • protect our website and systems;
  • meet legal or regulatory requirements.

We do not sell personal information.

03Marketing

We may contact you with relevant information about DQI, including updates, services, events, assessments or partnership opportunities.

The optional resource-updates checkbox is off by default. Accessing a free resource does not turn it on. The resource access register shows this choice separately from downloads.

Starting DQI Intro does not subscribe you to marketing. Course access emails are used to verify your email address and resume your learning.

You can ask us to stop sending marketing messages at any time.

04Cookies

Essential cookies support sign-in, security and saved work. Optional cookies and tracking are off unless you choose Accept optional cookies. Rejecting them does not prevent you from using the site or our services.

With your permission, we use Google Analytics to understand visits and navigation, and LogRocket diagnostics to help improve our site and services. LogRocket records how you use our pages, including what you type, but not passwords or verification codes. We remove request and response bodies and headers and replace account, document and session identifiers in URLs with route templates. If you have signed in or verified your email address, we link recordings to that email address. Your IP address, approximate location, session identifiers and device information may also be collected.

Use Cookie settings at the bottom of any page to accept or reject optional tracking at any time. We store this preference in your browser for six months and then ask again. Withdrawing consent stops further tracking and removes accessible analytics identifiers from this browser; it does not delete information already received by our providers. If you accept again after withdrawing, optional tracking resumes on your next full page visit. You can also control cookies through your browser settings.

05Sharing information

We may share information with trusted service providers who help us operate the website, manage communications, host systems, analyse website usage, or provide business services.

We may also share information where required by law or to protect our legal rights.

06How long we keep information

We only keep personal information for as long as needed for the purpose it was collected, including responding to enquiries, managing business relationships, meeting legal obligations, or maintaining business records.

07Security

We take reasonable steps to protect personal information from loss, misuse, unauthorised access, disclosure or alteration.

No website or online service can be guaranteed to be completely secure, but we aim to protect the information we hold using appropriate safeguards.

08Your rights

You may have rights under data protection law, including the right to:

  • access the personal information we hold about you;
  • ask us to correct inaccurate information;
  • ask us to delete your information;
  • object to certain uses of your information;
  • withdraw consent where we rely on consent;
  • ask us to stop sending marketing communications.

To make a privacy request, please contact us through the website.

09Third-party links

Our website may contain links to other websites. We are not responsible for the privacy practices or content of those websites.

10Changes to this policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The latest version will be published on this page.
